It said the brief ceremony was attended by his deputy, Mr Yomi Awoniyi, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Jimoh Lawal, and other top government functionaries.
The statement quoted the governor as saying it would usher in massive project execution that would uplift the standard of living of the people.
The statement said the governor commended the assembly for the quick passage of the budget and solicited continued cooperation between the executive and the legislature.
It said the budget was made up of N79 billion as recurrent expenditure while the balance of N49 billion was for capital expenditure.
