The ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representative members on Thursday reportedly stormed the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.
Daily Independent gathered that the principal officers of the House who were led by Deputy Speaker, Emeka Ihedioha, stormed the villa shortly after the the police prevented the Speaker of the House, Aminu Tambuwal, from entering the National Assembly.
Also among the entourage was the the Majority Leader, Mulikat Akande-Adeola, Deputy House Leader, Leo Ogor, and Chief Whip, Ishaku Bawa.
They all reportedly arrive the Presidential Villa at about 5.pm and went straight to the Vice President’s office, where they held a closed door meeting with Vice President Namadi Sambo.

However, the lawmakers refused to disclose the outcome of the meeting which reportedly lasted for about an hour.
It was hinted that when journalists insisted on getting a comment from the leader of the delegation, Ihedioha, he reportedly smiled and said: “OK, Happy Democracy Day!”
It would be recalled that operatives of the State Security Service (SSS) took over the National Assembly on Thursday, November 2o, 2014, ahead the House of Reps meeting aimed at discussing emergency rule extension in Yobe, Borno and Adamawa states.
The development reportedly followed President Goodluck Jonathan’s request to the House of Assembly for the third time to extend the emergency rule in three troubled states affected by the Boko Haram insurgency.
