COZA: IGP sets to take over Busola rape case
According to Naija news reports,Mohammed Adamu, The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) has ordered the Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIG) in charge of the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID), DIG Michael Ogbizi, to take over investigations of the allegation of rape levelled against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo.
Naija News recalls that celebrity photographer and wife of singer Timi Dakolo, Busola, had accused the Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Fatoyinbo, of raping her 20 years ago.
Recall that an invitation letter to the couple from the office of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Special Tactical Squad was delivered to the home of Timi and Busola on Saturday.
The Nigeria Police had stated that the invitation is a sequel to an on-going police investigation touching on the wider and highly publicized case involving Busola Dakolo, Fatoyinbo and others.
