Presidential Tribunal: Atiku Under-fire As Witness Fails Prove Existence Of INEC Server
According to Naija news Reports, The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) star witness has failed to show proof of existence of a server belonging to INEC.
Naija News reports that the PDP and Atiku are contesting the election of President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 general election.
The petitioners on Friday concluded their testimonies with their star and last witness.
Chidoka, who was the National Collation Officer of the PDP, could not, under cross-examination, sustain that claim that results were transmitted electronically.
The former Minister of Aviation under the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan could not provide the address of the said server and information about its location.
Chidoka, who admitted he has never seen any server, said he got information that results were transmitted to it from a whistle-blower.
He also confirmed that results were collated from the polling unit level, through the ward, state and national levels manually.
The Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal adjourned till July 29 for the defendants to open their defence, beginning with INEC, listed as the first defendant.
