The Ekiti State Government has accused former President Olusegun Obasanjo of violating the court order restraining him from publishing his controversial autobiography, ‘My Watch’.
Calling on the judiciary to sanction him, the Ekiti government in a statement by the state Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Owoseni Ajayi, described Obasanjo’s action as a deliberate impunity and contempt of court.

He said: “It is, therefore, a deliberate impunity and disregard to the rule of law and our judiciary for Chief Obasanjo to disobey the said order made by a competent court of law. It stands condemnable.”
According to Owoseni, the former president should be sanctioned “to serve as deterrent to other people, who see themselves as ‘super powers’ far and above the laws of the land.”
