Presidential Tribunal: Atiku tells Tribunal what to do before Final Judgment
According to Naija news Reports, Atiku Abubakar, The Former Vice President has pleaded with the tribunal to sack President Muhammadu Buhari when it finally delivers its judgment on their petition.
Naija News reports that Atiku and his party urged the tribunal to determine the petition on its merit rather than technicalities and ensure substantial justice.
This online news platform understands that Atiku and PDP maintained that President Buhari was not qualified to have contested the election and as such should be disqualified.
Naija News reports that the Presidential election took held February 23 and was conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
A report monitored on The Sun Newspaper by Naija News, quoted one of the senior lawyers in Atiku’s legal team, Mike Ozekhome (SAN), said it was the expectation of his client “that the judiciary, as the last hope of the common man, will be dauntless in addressing the substance of the petition by the peoples’ candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, in the collective quest to retrieve a stolen mandate through the legal process.”
