Obi Ezekwesili Roast Buhari Over Seeking $2.5BN Loan from world bank
According to Daily Advent Reports, Madam Obiageli Ezekwesili ,The Former Minister Of Education has Condemn the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari was ready to seek new loan from the World Bank.
World Bank’s Vice President for Africa, Hafez Ghanem, had confirmed Nigerian Government’s approach for a new loan to the tune of $2.5bn.
This is in addition to a $2.4bn already accessed by the FG from the global financial institution in 2018. There also exist other financial institutions the country currently service loans in.
Reacting on Friday via her twitter page, the chartered accountant stated that no amount of borrowings was enough to substitute for Structural Reforms of an economy – suggesting Nigeria needed other means, than borrowing, to rvive its economy.

Recall that the Debt Management Office had in July declared a rise (by 2.3%) to $81.27 billion (N24.947 trillion) of the Nation’s debt profile.
