Insecurity: IGP Speaks to join forces with OPC in South-West
According to Naija news Reports, The Inspector-General of Police (IGP),Mohammed Adamu has attributed the significant reduction in crime rate in the in South-West part of Nigeria, to his collaboration with the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) in South-West part of Nigeria.
This he said through a delegation sent to the Aare Ona Kankanfo of Yorubaland and OPC leader, Gani Adams.
Adamu further assured that the Police would continue to sustain the relationship so as to further reduce the crime rate and ensure peace in the zone.
Reacting, Adams praised the IGP’s to partner with his organisation, while pledging that the OPC will not betray the confidence.
“The most important part of security is intelligence gathering”, he stressed.
“This will help nip crime in the bud, crush criminal acts and catch those planning such”
