According to Naija news Reports, Biodun Fatoyinbo, The Senior Pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), has been granted administrative bail by the Police.
The COZA pastor was granted bail after hours of grilling by detectives over the allegation of rape levelled against him by celebrity photographer, Busola Dakolo.
Speaking to TheCable, police spokesperson, Frank Mba, stated that Fatoyinbo was served bail hours after quizzing him over the rape allegation.
“He has been served bail but he is still with us.
“He will remain with us until he meets his bail conditions,” Frank Mba said.
Naija News recalls that Busola, a celebrity photographer, had accused the COZA pastor of raping her twenty years ago while she was yet to be married to the popular Nigerian singer.
The news of the rape allegation had been greeted with reactions from Nigerians with some attacking her for coming out twenty years after the incident while some commended her for standing strong to come out and pour out her mind.
Recall that the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN had disclosed that Fatoyinbo ignored the panel that was set up to investigate the accusations against him.
Pastor Fatoyinbo while reacting to the report of PFN stated that he does not trust the objectivity of the panel set up by the religious body.
