JUST-IN: Speaker Gbajabiamila Makes First Appointment in Office
According to the Naija News report, The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajamiamila has appointed Hon. Sanusi Rickiji as his new Chief of Staff.
Naija News understands that Rickiji was a former Speaker of Zamfara State House of Assembly.
Gbajabiamila had on Tuesday emerged Speaker of the 9th National Assembly after defeating Hon. Umar Bago.
The new speaker garnered 281 votes out of 358 votes cast, while Bago got 76 votes. One vote was invalid.
Gbajabiamila, who is the longest-serving lawmaker in the House, represents Surulere constituency 1 of Lagos State.
