Finally Atiku Reacts to Tribunal denying him Access to INEC Server
The Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar has open up on the INEC server saga and has clearly stated that the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal has not denied him access to the server of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, but had instead said that granting access at the preliminary stage was not necessary.
He had also revealed why he felt Buhari victory was PREMATURE , saying that Buhari had forgotten that provision for the INEC server had been made available in the 2019 budget and there were also eyewitness testimonies by some INEC workers that there was indeed a server and they actually submitted results and accreditation through it.
Atiku who had been the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP for the February 23 presidential election is insisting that he won the election and is therefore contesting the victory of President Mohammadu Buhari at the tribunal.
Atiku, had through his media aide Paul Ibe on Tuesday responded to a statement made by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity on the server ruling by the tribunal, he had said that the tribunal’s ruling had been that the server was not necessary in the preliminary stage.
