Mariah Carey's sister struggling with HIV sued for drunk driving for $2million after she 'drunkenly veered into an incoming truck and left the driver disabled'
Mariah Carey's troubled older sister Alison, 55, has been accused of causing a head-on collision that left Long Island truck driver Joe Criscione permanently disabled, he claims. Court documents state Criscione tried unsuccessfully to swerve out of the way, while Carey admitted she was 'not sure what happened.' The incident took place along the County Rd 39 in Southhampton, New York in March 2014.
Speaking to DailyMail.com, Criscione's wife Lauri said her husband was forced to quit his job for a year because of his injuries. The couple accused Carey of drunk driving. Alison, who has been estranged from Mariah for 20 years, has been known to have struggled with addiction and HIV.
