Vacancy - Project Manager

Responsibilities
Reports to the Head of Project
Carry out site inspection visits
Accountable for site preparation before installation by Engineers
Oversee daily project activities on site
Checking all works performed on site and verifying that work satisfies the specific tasks outlined in the project implementation schedule
Coordinate all project activities and ensure major issues are promptly escalated to the Head of Project
Communicate Change request to the Head of Project or Change Control Board
Responsible and accountable for the successful delivery of projects
Responsible and accountable for the timely reporting of project progress to Head of projects and other stakeholders
Responsible for proper planning of projects throughout the project lifecycle
Ensure Projects are properly handed over after completion to the business owner
Liaise on behalf of the business with manufactures/suppliers and regulatory authorities to facilitate approvals and also information gathering
Undertake risk analysis of various options in the projects
Ensure proper scope definitions per project

Requirements
Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
Attention to detail
Good communication skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Project or Primavera software
Experience of financial control and budget management
Personal Integrity
Able to work to deadlines and under pressure
Able to work flexible hours
Able to travel at short notice
Educated to degree level in a Science or Engineering Discipline (preferably in Civil Engineering, Construction or Architecture)
Qualification in PMP or PRINCE 2 project management methodology critical
Over 3 years project management experience
Good working knowledge of AutoCAD
