Job Details:

Candidate will be overall accountability of Branch management including planning and implementation of sales strategies, commercial activities with an objective of expanding the products market and growth.
Requires minimal supervision.
Includes lead supervisory and managerial roles including new initiatives and strategies.

Education & Skills:
MBA (Marketing) preferably form some of the top Business School.
Good knowledge of Sales, Commercials, Distribution Systems and Network, etc.
Excellent communication skills and writing proficiency in English.
Good merchandizing skills.
Good Computer literacy and IT skills.
Good administrative and leadership skills.
Capable of leading team including Managers and staff employees.

Experience:
Minimum 10 years experience of Sales functions in any reputed Food/FMCG industry.
Experience of heading multi products sales portfolio preferably at area/region level in a big Company with proven track record of achievements.
Experience of developing sales strategies, new markets, distribution network, setting up new outlets, etc.

Job Description:

Managing Branch sales organization as a profit centre and to achieve product and SKU-wise targeted sales.
Forecasting sales, finalizing tentative lifting plan of all stocks/SKUs and providing the same well in advance for production planning.
Planning and executing new initiatives and strategies for increasing sales.
Strengthening dealer and distribution network, its augmentation and ensuring the effective management of same.
Identifying new markets/areas and strategizing the products entry and sales increase in same.
Keeping track of inventory, implementing FIFO, ensuring effective administration and management of warehouse as per Company policy to eliminate all discrepancy/gaps, maintaining hygiene and proper record keeping.
Strategizing and ensuring the elimination/minimization of stock damage in warehouse during material handling or due to stock expiry.
Managing sales, accounting, warehouse, etc functions at the Branch.
Monitoring and controlling Branch sales performance vs expenses on weekly and monthly basis.
Local logistics management including monitoring delivery/supply vehicles, proper planning for stock supply to distant areas to minimize the secondary freight cost, etc.
Monitoring the payments of customers and raising invoices, accordingly as per the Company policy in this regard.
Implementing sales promotions, schemes and market activation programs with robust control / tracking mechanisms alongwith metrics to measure effectiveness of the program.
Visiting all distributors on periodic basis and understanding the market scenarios as well as administrative issues, if any.
Monitoring and analyzing distributor-wise sales performance and strategizing accordingly.
Building competent, effective, efficient and result oriented organization at Branch level.
Collecting pricing structure basis market inputs including market intelligence on competition, trade, customer expectations, product features, etc and sharing the same with the management.
Continuous working towards brand building.
Monitoring sales people performance individual-wise and provide them leadership.
Coordination with manufacturing and supply chain function on availability and delivery of products to ensure product availability.
Dealing with commercial activities pertaining to sales functions viz credit policy, controlling bills/receivables, incentive schemes, etc.
Handling all administrative issues pertaining to Branch office and setup.
Implementation and maintenance of quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies with specific focus on growth, cost reduction and process improvements.
Any other job which may be assigned by the management from time to time.
