President Muhammadu Buhari extends heartfelt condolences to the Anenih family on the death of its beloved patriarch and elder statesman, Chief Anthony Anenih.

Chief Tony Anenih Is Dead
Chief Tony Anenih, a former Minister of Works and Housing and chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party is dead Independent reports.
He was aged 85. He died, this afternoon, at the Cedar Crest hospital in Abuja, where he had been on admission since a week ago.
Chief Anenih earlier this year decided not to celebrate his 85th birthday with pomp because Nigeria has in recent times witnessed many losses, bloodshed and apprehensions.
Anenih was married to Josephine Anenih, a lawyer, who was the chairperson of the Federation of Women Lawyers from 1994 to 2000 and also was the first National Woman Leader of the PDP, from 1999-2005.
