The really which was attended by top members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and the Governors of Zinder and Maradi from Niger Republic in Kano, saw Buhari endorsed Ganduje, who was caught in several videos allegedly collecting kickbacks from contractors for second term.

Mr. Mohammed said that there are fresh evidences that Atiku benefited from the slush funds that led to the collapse of the bank. In 2009, he said that a memo was raised for the issuance and payment of N156 million to Atiku’s account.
The onus, he said, is on Atiku to exonerate himself.

On her part, wife of the PDP presidential candidate, Mrs. Jennifer Douglas Abubakar, posited that the key to unlocking the breakthrough of the nation lies with the women, saying only women can redeem the nation through massive mobilisations for the 2019 elections.

Saraki brought up the proposal while reacting to a statement credited to Prof. Yakubu. The INEC boss had disclosed that some politicians were already scheming to purchase PVCs ahead of the vote.
Saraki would rather the INEC boss stops raising alarms but instead devise water-tight arrangements to bring to futility “the efforts of such unscrupulous politicians”.
page 2
Naija News reports that Oshiomole disclosed this in a chat with the state house correspondents at the presidential villa in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital. Although he never mentioned the name of the Senate president, it was clear from indications that the APC’s national chairman was referring to the Senate president.

“All stakeholders must come up fast with a solution to render useless the antics of those who intend to procure voter’s cards. We all need to put our heads together and I am sure that such a stakeholders meeting will not only nip in the bud the looming danger, it will also engender general confidence in the system and create a system in which all stakeholders become problem solvers”, he stated.

Atiku Abubakar would be speaking at a forum by the American Chamber of Commerce in Washington D.C. and attend other meetings aimed at boosting his presidential election standing.
Mr Abubakar’s arrival in the U.S. may rattle the ruling All Progressives Congress, which has taunted him for his inability to enter the U.S. for over a decade.

“Also Yesterday (Thursday), these same APC thugs shielded by policemen went to my family quarters in Agbaji in Ilorin and vandalized houses, shops and inflicted wounds with machete on three people.
“All these destructions took place in the presence of policemen who came with them but watched without any care, as the APC thugs and supporters unleashed violence on our people.
Page 3
Narrating his ordeals further, Saraki said: “Three incidents will illustrate what I am saying to you. Yesterday, after the APC concluded their campaigns in Ilorin, some of their supporters and thugs moved around town and in areas like Adewole/Adeta, Ile Otan and Ubandawaki/Pakata where they saw our people gathered holding their weekly ward meetings.

saraki called on Nigerians and the entire world to hold the IGP responsible if anything untoward happens to him and members of his family.
“While the police are free to take decisions on the deployment of their personnel, we found the postings in Kwara State strange and more than a mere coincidence.

He said all his predecessors were accorded that security cover whenever they visited their home states and that he also enjoyed it in his first year in office from 2015 to 2016.
Saraki expressed apprehensions over his personal safety as the ward to ward electioneering campaign is about to begin across the state.

Adeoye, who is the presiding Bishop of Sufficient Grace and Truth Ministry, Okinni, Osun State, in a statement on Friday said many people ignored his warnings against electing Buhari in 2015.
The statement reads:-
page 2
He deplored the way some clerics predict the winners of elections, saying the trend could cause a crisis, especially if the proclaimed candidate loses.
page 2
He made the appeal during the council’s inaugural meeting at the Presidential Villa on Thursday, January 10, 2019.
The president said the individuals in the council are the best the party has to offer and expressed his confidence in them to overcome any opponent.

He said: “As religious leaders, we should be careful about what we say to our followers in churches and mosques, bearing in mind that we will all, one day, stand before Allah and account for our deeds. We should never allow ourselves to be used by any political party or candidate. If you want to support any party or candidates, do it personally.
Page 3
During the meeting, Buhari presented documents containing the proposal on the structure and operational modalities of the council and directorates for the 2019 election.
He urged members to read the documents and make observations to improve the party’s performances in the general elections.
page 2
Expectedly, the chairman of APC in Ika South, Edwin Okoh, who led the 5,000 other members to PDP, told newsmen that their decision to dump the party for PDP was informed by many crises that had bedeviled the party in the recent times, adding that the good works of Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, the state governor, was sufficient reason for their imperative move to PDP apart from the crisis in APC.

“The demolition is a complete subversion of rule of law as the matter is already in court. The APC-led Kwara state government could not wait for the outcome of the court process apparently because it knows that it is pursuing an illegal agenda.
“Nigerians know how the APC and its government have been hounding, harassing and dragging Senator Saraki around over trumped-up charges, for daring to be among compatriots at the forefront of the quest to rescue our nation from misrule and strangleholds of the APC and its
cabal.
“The APC and Kwara state government should perish their idea of trying to use false claims and propaganda to justify their wicked act and take over the property, as such cannot hoodwink Nigerians from the truth.
“Moreover, the timing of the invasion and demolition, in the wee hours and under the cover of darkness, is a direct indication that the state government was carrying out an unwholesome and condemnable operation during which defenceless women were fired with gunshots.”
PDP urged Nigerians to note that demolition of property, genuinely belonging to opposition leaders and other Nigerians perceived to be opposed to APC’s oppressive administration, has become a policy of the APC and its government in their bid to subjugate Nigerians and exclusively appropriate our common patrimomy for their selfish purposes.
“Nigerians have not forgotten how APC leaders, including those at the Presidency, applauded whenever property belonging to perceived political opponents was unjustly and viciously pulled down in APC-controlled states and even in Abuja.
“We, however, caution the APC, its administration, and in this particular case, the Kwara state government, against crossing the boundaries and stretching the forbearance of the people, which is already causing tension that could trigger serious unrest in our country.
“It is also instructive to note that in the years the PDP governed Kwara state, there was no case of government demolishing the property of opposition members or supporters under any guise whatsoever.
“Our party, therefore, stands with Senator Saraki and cautions the Kwara state government to henceforth steer clear of the property,”
The statement added
page 2
He said history will not forgive Nigerians if they failed to punish Obasanjo for this selfish act.
Oshiomhole stated this on Wednesday at the U. J. Esuene Stadium in Calabar, Cross River State capital during his presidential campaign rally in the state.
page 2
He noted that by the suspension of the CJN, Buhari had acted outside the provision of the constitution, exercised the powers which he does not have and that this action amounted to gross misconduct.
“This action is capable of undermining the nation’s judiciary, subverting the constitution, intimidating judges of all the courts of record, and creating uncertainty in the electoral process.
page 3
“There is no condition under which the President can usurp the powers of other arms of government. I do not know where the President and his advisers got this idea of suspending the CJN on the so-called order of the Code of Conduct Tribunal but this is novel, disingenuous and alien to our laws.
It is strange that President Buhari is claiming to be taking orders from a Tribunal which has been ordered by a superior court to halt all actions on the trial.
page 3
He said that Nigerians should not forgive him.
“There is no statesman in the world that will voluntarily cede parts of his territory to another country just because he needed a noble peace prize award. If we are too weak to punish him, history will punish him.

That is to say, most times, it takes a measure of madness to cure a mad man. Take Psychiatric doctors for example. Oh, you think they’re normal?
Just like I had advised the other day, Senate has announced an emergency reconvening on Tuesday. And here’s what I propose as a grand plan to appease the majority of the Nigerian masses at this time of anger:
page 3
The Senate should then, upon reconvening on Tuesday, move, as a matter of national emergency, to implement the order of the court, and forthwith suspend the President and his Vice, and proceed to swear in the Senate President as Acting Nigerian President.
page 2
He said having worsened the level of poverty in the country, Buhari does not deserve to ask Nigerians for another chance.
The statement read in part:-
“The truth is that, there is no country in the world where a president with this appalling record could ever be re-elected.
page 2
He promised to reverse the trend by growing the nation’s economy if he’s elected president.
He said, “Young Nigerians aren’t just leaving Nigeria because of bad pay and working conditions – they are leaving because there is no hope.
“In the early 2000s, we witnessed a big influx of Nigerians coming home to work and build new businesses because they saw our policies brought growth.
page 2
Oshiomhole’s comments were in reaction to questions about the criticism that had trailed the suspension of the CJN. Amid the storm caused by the suspension, the UK, the US, and the EU said in separate statements that they were concerned about the development.
While the UK said the timing “gives cause for concern”, the US said it “undercuts the stated determination of the government, candidates, and political party leaders to ensure that the elections proceed in a way that is free, fair, transparent, and peaceful – leading to a credible result”.
page 2
According to the statements, which were made available to PREMIUM TIMES through the communications unit of the U.S. embassy, the two countries commended the political parties for signing the peace accord and urged the candidates to conduct themselves within the laws governing the elections.
page 3
On her part, the United Kingdom promised continued support for Nigeria’s Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) towards making the electoral process credible and peaceful.
The statement reads in part; “We continue to provide significant support to Nigeria’s Independent National Electoral Commission and to Nigerian civil society to help them deliver credible elections.

During the attack on the governor’s convoy on Sunday, the bandits, taking advantage of the bushy terrain, opened fire on the motorcade, a source said.
The source, who said he was unsure of the number of casualties, said the governor’s security details quickly returned fire and were able to protect and evacuate their principal.
“Even if we stopped, we can’t cross the river because the bandits are in (a) better position to notice the movement of anyone confronting them while they are covered by the thick forest,” the source added, while explaining the security’s withdrawal from confronting the bandits.
Other sources who witnessed the incident gave similar narratives. The sources include public and non-public officials but asked not to be named for fear of being in the new governor’s bad books.

The data also showed that extrajudicial activities by state actors led to the most killings in the country with 1,545 deaths, while 1,042 Nigerians were killed by Boko Haram sects.
Also, communal crisis and clash between herdsmen and farmers resulted in killings of 1,178 Nigerians while 1,230 deaths resulted from other factors.
The Nigeria Security Tracker (NST) said it tracks violence that is both causal and symptomatic of Nigeria’s political instability and citizen alienation.
“Relying on press reports of violence presents methodological limitations. There is a dearth of accurate reporting across certain regions, death tolls are imprecise, and accounts of incidents vary. There is the potential for political manipulation of media. Given these limitations, the NST makes every effort to collect information from multiple sources,” the NST noted.

According to him, the Senate President bought the properties from the Presidential Committee on Sale of Federal Government Landed Properties in Lagos through his companies.
He added that the defendant made a bank draft in the name of TYNITY Company Limited, which he declared in the asset declaration form.
Wetkas noted that when the EFCC investigation team wrote to the presidential committee seeking clarification, the committee said from their records, the only property sold to the company was No. 15 Macdonald Street, Ikoyi.
Wetkas said 75 percent, which amounted to N123.7m was paid for House No. 15 MacDonald Road, Ikoyi, through a bank draft from the account of one of Saraki’s company called Skyview Properties Limited in Access Bank.
He also said investigation revealed that Saraki made a bank draft through his company TYNITY and paid for House No. 17 MacDonald Road in Ikoyi, Lagos, in the sum of N256.3m.
The witness had said, “My lord, there was a draft of N12.8m and another draft of N20m from Zenith Bank as well as a draft of N4m from GTBank as part of payment for the purchase of House No. 17 MacDonald Street.
“The N20m draft came from Carlys properties and Investment Limited and a draft of 136.1m was made on January 13, 2007 for the purchase of same property.

Mr Secondus said the president is desperate for a second term in office and started by attacking politicians, moved to attack the National Assembly and is now laying a siege on the judicial arm of government.

This the group said in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary of the group, Comrade Kufre Obot, and made available to Naija News on Monday.
Recall that the group through its Deputy Leader, Ebuta Ogar Takon had threatened to evict northerners from the entire eastern region if the Coalition of Northern Groups goes ahead with its threat to expel Southerners from the north on 30th July amid suspension of RUGA.
However, Kufre Obot insisted that the BNYL would carry out its threat in retaliation to any unfortunate incidence against the people of the Southeast and South south in retaliation.
He lamented that similar incidence was the cause of the Biafran initial secession, “everyone can now see reasons why our fathers Emeka Ojukwu and Philip Effiong rebelled against Nigeria.
“We are also aware of how people from our region, especially the South-south, are currently been retired from the Army and other Forces, where you will find Efik, Igbo and Ijaw people in the army is recruit, those who will be sent to Sambisa to confront Boko Haram with toy guns” he said.
The group said it will henceforth begin to check herdsmen excesses in the region to avoid unexpected attack on communities.
“We dare the so called Abdulazeez Suleiman and his Coalition groups to execute their plans on 30th or hide their faces in shame”.

Prof Itse Sagay - why i Said INEC chairman lacks Initiative
“I myself with my level of education find it very difficult to identify my party logo out of the 73 political parties that contested in the presidential election. Now, INEC is talking of 200 and they are just saying it without thinking of what to do about it so that we don’t get to that level.
“Shouldn’t INEC now through the government propose an amendment to the provisions of the constitution for registration of political parties?
“That is what INEC should be talking of. They should get their lawyers to draft a document and send it to the Ministry of Justice so that the conditions for registration can be made more drastic and at the end, we won’t have more than 10 political parties.
“For me, it’s all a sign of INEC’s weakness which has been a serious problem particularly in these 2019 elections as against the one in 2015 when we had a chairman of INEC who knew what he was doing.
“The current INEC chairman is a very weak man and doesn’t have any initiative. He is not proactive and collapses easily under problems and just articulates the problems without any solutions while waiting for somebody else to do it for him.”

“My government is trying all it takes to tackle insecurity which I see as the only challenge Nigeria is facing at the moment,” President Buhari vowed.
The President also gave Nigerians full assurance to end the country’s problems in his four years.

Atiku explains why server isn't necessary
“The celebration by the administration of General Buhari that their electoral heist has been covered is premature. Their giddiness has even blinded them to the eyewitness testimony in the multiple media interviews by Independent National Electoral Commission workers that there was indeed a server and that they actually submitted results and accreditation through it.
“In their rush to claim a pyrrhic victory, the General Buhari administration missed out on the fact that the 2019 budget has multiple line items for procurement, maintenance and service of the server they claim does not exist.”
He added, “The statement tried to spin the recent verdict on the election passed by the European Union election observers. For the avoidance of doubt, what the EU report said was that the 2019 elections had significant defects and fell short of the 2015 elections. It should be noted that one of the issues they raised was the attempt to muzzle not just the media, but more importantly the judiciary.
“In the light of this, we remind those who are gloating in their ignorance that ‘he who laughs last, laughs best. The last has not been heard of this matter and we eagerly anticipate the actual ruling of the tribunal when the case proper begins.

“And we must remember that God, the Almighty God is the builder of nations, that God controls the destinies of nations and its people. Psalms 24:1 says, “The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness. The world and those who dwell therein.”
“God promised the children of Israel that He would take them from bondage, suffering and slavery into the Promised Land, a land flowing with milk and honey.
“By the hand of Joshua, God brought His promise to pass. They got to the Jordan and as their feet touched the water, the Jordan was separated and they walked on dry land all across the Jordan.
“They got to Jericho, a well-fortified city and they did not fire a shot, they brought down the walls of Jericho by a shout. Thereafter, when they were about to take the Promised Land after Moses had asked that some go and spy out the land, some of those who went to spy said that it would be impossible to take the city, impossible to enter the Promised Land. However, Caleb and Joshua had a different spirit, and they said that because God had promised and because He could do it, all the problems were just bread, mere bread to be eaten by the children of Israel.
“God has promised us a new Nigeria, a peaceful Nigeria, a prosperous Nigeria, a Nigeria where justice and equity shall prevail, a united Nigeria, where the different tribes and tongues are not wedges of separation, but the joyful textures of our togetherness. God is ready to fulfill His promise.
“We stand outside the new city, the Promised Land, the new Nigeria; like the spies sent by Moses to spy out the Promised Land, some are saying, “Ha! It is impossible, Nigeria cannot change, the ethnic and religious divisions are too deep, corruption cannot end, politicians are too selfish and mischievous.”
“Yet, like Caleb and Joshua, we declare that these problems are merely bread for us, we will enter the Promised Land! The new Nigeria is here, and each and every one of us, our families, our friends, all of us, will eat the pleasant fruits of this land.
“God Almighty has taken away the protection of the enemies of this nation. He has taken away their powers, the noise we hear, the turbulence we experience, are the last gasps of a defeated foe. The day of freedom is at the door.
“As with Abraham, we in the words of Hebrews 11:10 wait for the new Nigeria, which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
“As we wait, we declare in the words of Psalms 46:8-11 -“Come, behold the works of the Lord, who has made desolations on the earth. He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariot in the fire. Be still and know that I am God! I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.”

Reacting to INEC’s submission, the former Vice-President and PDP said the address of the server from which the results were obtained are unique to INEC.
“The Servers from which the said figures were derived belong to the first Respondent (INEC). The figures and votes were transmitted to the first Respondent’s Presidential Result’s Server 1 and thereafter aggregated in INEC_PRES_RSLT_SRV2019, whose Physical Address or unique Mac Address is 94-57-A5-DC-64-B9 with Microsoft Product ID 00252-7000000000-AA535. The above descriptions are unique to the 15t Respondent’s Server,” Abubakar and his party said.
“There is no conjecture in the votes and scores in the table pleaded by the Petitioners. The figures are factual. The Spokesperson for the 2nd Respondent’s Campaign Organization openly admitted that the data in question was in the first Respondent’s Server when he wrote and submitted a petition to the Inspector General of Police and the Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS) asking the Security agencies to investigate the 2nd Petitioner herein for allegedly hacking into the Server of the 1St Respondent and obtaining the data in question.
“Specifically, Mr Festus Keyamo, SAN, the Spokesperson of the 2nd Respondent claimed in the said petition that it was the first Petitioner who smuggled the data into the Server.”
The former Vice-President and the main opposition party also alleged that INEC chairman, Mahmood Yakubu “committed grave errors in the final collation exercise” for the election by “falsely crediting” some persons with political parties, including “Okotie Christopher, Reverend Dr Onwubuya and Ojinika Jeff Chinze.”
“The grave errors referred to in paragraphs 4 and 5 above were under the hands and signature of the first Respondent’s Chairman, (who was also the Returning Officer) in the conduct of the final collation of the results of the Presidential Election.
“The Petitioners state that the final results as declared by the first respondent are those that were transmitted online to the website of the first Respondent (www.inecnigeria.org),” Abubakar and PDP added.

“The rest were donated to him by well-wishers after his jeep was damaged in a Boko Haram bomb attack on his convoy in July 2014.”
For Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, the Presidency stated that he had, “A bank balance of about N94m and 900,000 United States Dollars in his bank accounts.”
The houses owned by Osinbajo back then were listed as “four-bedroomed residence on Victoria Garden City, Lagos, and a three-bedroom flat on 2, Mosley Road, Ikoyi; two-bedroom flat on Redemption Camp along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and a 2-bedroom mortgaged property in Bedford, England.”
The Presidency added, “Apart from his law firm, known as SimmonsCooper, the vice-president also declared shareholding in six private companies based in Lagos, including Octogenerium Limited, Windsor Grant Limited, Tarapolsa, Vistorion Limited, Aviva Limited and MTN Nigeria.”

During the tribunal, INEC said that it had no server where the election results were transmitted during the February 23 presidential election.
The PDP had presented over five witnesses to attest to its claims of compromise in the presidential election result.
Buhari on Tuesday, July 30 opened his defence and had called seven witnesses between then and Wednesday.
During Wednesday’s defence, Buhari’s lawyer, Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN), told the five-man panel of the tribunal led by Justice Mohammed Garba that his team was satisfied with the seven witnesses presented.
Also, APC’s lawyer, Lateef Fagbemi (SAN) said he and members of his team also found it unnecessary to call more witnesses.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the first respondent did not also call any witness or tender any document.
In all, there were seven defence witnesses against the 62 called by the petitioners.

Prophet T.B Joshua said: “Until what they inherited from their past predecessors is no longer burdensome (that is when Nigeria is going to get to the Promised Land).
“Like the issue of (this) administration, the person in power (President Buhari) is still battling with what he inherited, he has not started a new thing.
“Some may continue battling with theirs throughout their tenure.
“It’s like somebody’s father dying and there is a huge debt to settle. You realise that either you denounce that father or carry the responsibility. You begin to pay the debt for his house and other things – and that may take your time and career.
“I think the problem is that we have many leaders, but we fail to take time to develop people’s skills – they have no disciples.
“No one can do it alone, even Jesus Christ knew this and that was why He had disciples.
“But we have leaders without disciples in every area. Not in the political circle alone, but churches too.
“Take your mind back to some late great men of God in Nigeria, how many of them had disciples? Look at the political circle; take your mind back to the olden days – how many of them had disciples?
“It takes time to develop people’s skills, but how many people will do that? You will be persecuted and hated even among the people you are developing.
“Many of them will be Judas and in the process of developing them, they will go out and say all sorts of things against you, they want to bring you down- but at the end of the day, you still see one or two of them that are good.
“Of course, you know what happened to Jesus because He was developing skills, making disciples.
“People are afraid to develop skills because, in the process of developing people’s skills, you look at the repercussion.
“When you weigh the disadvantages and advantages, one would be afraid to go into it – but the future is great because you will live forever if you take time to develop people’s skills and make disciples out of them.”
Continuing, the influential cleric goes scriptural:
“This is what the Bible said. It says – Go ye into the world and make disciples.
“We have leaders without disciples – and no one can go it alone. We need good people, inspired people and informed people to achieve our dreams and objectives – and Jesus knew this,” Prophet T.B Joshua was quoted to have said.
