He said those fighting back corruption where the opposition politicians who are against change, noting that they have often misconstrued and misinterpreted ‘grand corruption’ in which the IMF labeled the opposition when they were in government between 2005-2015, with ‘process corruption’ for which Transparency International recently rated the country.
Garba argued that Process corruption by the definition of TI was the regular corruption engaged in by policemen collecting bribes at checkpoints as well bribes taken by migration and Customs Officials at the airports.
While grand corruption according to the International monetary Fund, IMF, were large scale illicit movement funds through offshore banking transactions.
He justified the need to bring back President Buhari, since under him the country is been celebrated for relentlessly fighting corruption
“Under 4 years Nigeria is been celebrated for relentlessly fighting grand corruption ” he said, adding that it has become expedient because the Buhari administration wants to deliver on social services for the larger benefit of Nigerians and not he few kleptomaniacs
