New minimum wage: Organized Labour blows hot, reveals what’ll happen if FG truncates agreed N30,000
The Organised Labour has warned the President Muhammadu Buhari government against any attempt to delay or truncate the newly-agreed N30,000 national minimum wage.
It said such move would have a devastating effect on the country.
It also cried out over the issue of corruption, saying it remained one of the major challenges facing the nation.
President of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria, ASCSN, Bobboi Kaigama said this while addressing the National Executive Council, NEC, meeting of the association, in Abuja.
Kaigama, who also serves as the President of Trade Union Congress of Nigeria, TUC, stressed on the need for the government to fast-track implementation of the newly agreed national minimum wage.
