Atiku Vows To Lift 50m Out Of Poverty, Create 2.5m Jobs Annually
Abuja – Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has promised that his investment plan would create a minimum of 2.5 million jobs annually and lift at least 50 million people from poverty in the first two years if elected in 2019.
He also promised to introduce inclusive government and living wages for workers.
Atiku disclosed this on Monday on his Facebook page while presenting his policy document titled, ‘The Atiku Plan’.
The former vice president, who said he was 100% for 100% of Nigerians and 100% of the time, added that “this is my plan to get Nigeria working again; a plan that will give Nigerian workers a living wage.”
He continued: “A plan that will give Nigerian youths a world-class education. A plan that will empower Nigerian women, reduce maternal mortality and increase their financial stability.
