The IPOB leader who said he has renounced his Nigerian citizenship and also noted that he is a citizen of Britain citizenship accused the Nigerian government of killing 28 people in his home as well as his family dog, Jack.
Nnamdi Kanu was standing trial was granted bail by Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja in April 2017 and was expected to appear back in court when an attack was launched on his family home by the Nigerian Army.
During the broadcast Kanu said;
“I committed no offence known to law, my only weapon is the microphone and the voice God has given me, IPOB is committed to the liberation of Ibo Land and we won’t rest until we have referendum.”
Mr Kanu who claimed that he had enjoyed the support and protection of the Israeli government than President Banjamen Netayahu as well as President Donald Trump of the United States.
He also thanked many Nigerians including the immediate past governor of Ekiti state Ayodele Fayose, Yoruba Elder statesman Pa Ayo Adebanjo and many notable Ibo personalities for their support.

He however reiterated that he and the IPOB would achieve the triumph of Biafra land by any means recognized by international law and community.
He said that the South-East and South-South of Nigeria are one, and there was no Niger Delta, according to him “all we have his Biafra land.”In his closing remark he promised to return to court if he was guaranteed fair hearing and the proceeding of the court was transparent. He also promised that there would be compensation for everyone who has suffered one loss or the other in the Biafran struggle.
